Celebrate the Harvest!
A FundRAISER Dinner Featuring
Fine Food, Fiddles and Feral Pork

Reserve your place at the table by registering online or calling 304-724-3006.

Tickets are $75 adults in advance or, $95 at the door (if available). Children (3 - 10) are $45.

On the eve of the popular 13th Annual International Wise Traditions Conference, we'll gather together the food rights community to Celebrate the Harvest!

Here’s what’s in store for you:

  • a reception featuring artisan crackers, aged raw milk cheeses, kombucha bar and cash bar.
  • delicious, nutrient-dense, three-course meal featuring Baker Green Acres Mangalitsa pork (in Michigan aka, "feral pork") and US Wellness Meats grass-fed beef entree topped off with everyone's favorite, apple cobbler and vanilla ice cream  (gluten-free and casein-free options are available).
  • remarks by Sally Fallon Morell, Weston A. Price Foundation President
    and author of Nourishing Traditions Cookbook, and Pete Kennedy,
    Esq., Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund President;

  • keynote address by Mark Baker of Baker's Green Acres, FTCLDF member and the farmer in the forefront of the fight to save Michigan farmers' right to raise heritage breed pigs;
  • a lively, foot stomping fiddle and banjo band to round out the evening with dancing and fun!

The Hadassah Gospel Hour is Evie LadinSuzy Thompson and Allegra Yellin, and they come to us from Oakland, California. They play foot stompin' traditional appalachian stringband music and sing gorgeous old time harmonies.  "Hadassah refers to the Jewish biblical Queen of Persia, and is a reference to their heritage.  Gospel refers to their apppreciation of traditional gospel music. Thus, the name."

So, bring your dancing shoes! They'll even provide dancing lessons and demonstrations of clogging!

Join us at Wise Traditions 2012
Although anyone is invited to come, we encourage you to also attend the conference too, to learn more about the benefits of nutrient dense foods from speakers like Sally Fallon Morell, Jeffrey Smith, Natasha Campbell-McBride, MD, Tom Cowan, M.D., Kaayla Daniel, Ph.D, and Chris Masterjohn!
