The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) is in the process of issuing proposed regulations (2/21/14 version) that would impose burdensome requirements on raw milk producers and restrict consumer access. It's currently legal to sell raw milk on the farm without any licensing or inspection requirements; no cases of foodborne illness have been attributed to the consumption of raw milk from an Illinois producer, according to records going back to 1999.
People fighting to keep raw milk flowing in Illinois need your help!

The Fund is not an insurance company and cannot guarantee representation on all legal matters. Your membership fees and donations help to keep local food sources available and preserve family farms facing unjust enforcement actions.
