Attend WV Raw Milk Freedom Protest

WV Governor Vetoed SB 30

Raw Milk Freedom Protest
April 15, 12 - 2 p.m.
Charleston, WV

On Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from noon until 2 p.m., join West Virginia voters and farmers to support Food Freedom across West Virginia and throughout the USA.

The Governor of West Virginia recently vetoed SB 30. Known as the Herdshare Bill, the change in law would have reversed an older statute that prohibited West Virginia residents from co-owning dairy livestock for the purpose of being able to use their animals' milk without pasteurization.

Food Freedom is a nationwide grassroots movement spearheaded by small farmers and consumers. The people of the food freedom movement believe Americans have stood by and allowed too many basic freedoms to be taken with little objection.

During these two hours of the protest, you may see a cow on the state capitol lawn, real milk in its raw state being passed about, and folks in shirts sporting the ever famous "Don't Tread on Me" serpent holding a glass of...you guessed it, raw milk.
