Use NEW petition to thank the Virginia Governor and other supporters of the "On-Farm Activities" legislation (HB268/SB51).
Originally introduced by Delegate Orrock (HB 268) and Senator Stuart (SB 51), this bipartisan legislation will strengthen Virginia's agricultural heritage, giving Virginians more income opportunities. Both HB 268 and SB 51, backed by Virginia Farm Bureau and Virginia Agribusiness Council, passed both the House and the Senate.
On Thursday, March 6, Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe signed the landmark bill, SB 51, which will go into effect July 1, 2014. Read the full press release.
Sign the petition to show Gov. McAuliffe and other bill supporters how many Virginians support legislation that helps small farmers and consumers of local food.
A big thanks to everyone who acted in support of this bill! We did it!
