View New Film, Unacceptable Levels

The new film, Unacceptable Levels, is a story about the chemicals in our bodies, how they got there, and what we can do about it. The film will raise awareness, change consumer buying patterns and be part of the solution (e.g., protecting small-scale, eco-friendly farming).

The Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund (FTCLDF) also raises awareness, changes consumer buying patterns (farm to consumer) and is part of the solution since FTCLDF protects pasture-based farmers that use non-toxic methods.

Play it Forward! Rent the film for only $5.99 and FTCLDF will receive 40% of your streaming rental fee and 20% of your DVD purchase through May 15, 2014 when you use this link: www.bit.ly/FTC-UL

Worried About Toxins? We Asked the Doctor
Elly and Dr. Ron on the farm

To coincide with the release of Unacceptable Levels, we asked Dr. Ron Schmid, a naturopathic physician since 1981 and owner of Dr. Ron's Ultra-Pure, the additive-free company, some questions of our own.

The Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund thanks Dr. Ron Schmid for being a FTCLDF member and supporting the FTCLDF with quarterly donations.

He donates 5% of profits from Dr. Ron's Ultra-Pure online sales to the FTCLDF and other nonprofits.

Read the interview to learn his answers to these questions and more:

  • What are the three top sources of toxins you advise your patients to avoid?
  • How can you tell if someone has a toxic overload?
  • What are the most important detox tools?
  • Is there a common health challenge that folks would be surprised to know is caused or exacerbated by toxins?
What does Dr. Ron say about toxins? Read our interview with Dr. Ron here.

Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit [EIN 20-8605130], defends the rights and broadens the freedoms of family farms and artisan food producers while protecting consumer access to raw milk and nutrient-dense foods. Learn more About Us or read the FTCLDF 2012 Summary.

Membership benefits include the possibility of representation in court; the Fund typically pays for all court costs. The Fund is not an insurance company and cannot guarantee representation on all legal matters. Your membership fees and donations help to keep local food sources available and preserve family farms facing unjust enforcement actions.
