Support VA Constitutional Amendment with SJ 264 & HJ 519

UPDATE: Your attendance at the hearing
is crucial to the amendment's success.

UPDATE: The lobbyists who oppose the Constitutional Amendment are putting heavy pressure on the Committee not to hold a vote on the amendment.

Your attendance at the hearing is crucial to the amendment's success.

VICFA's proposed Constitutional Amendment, HJ 519 and SJ 264, has passed out of the Privileges and Election Sub-Committees. SJ 264 will be heard in full Committee on January 27, 2015 at 4 p.m. in Senate Room A of the General Assembly Building in Capitol Square, Richmond, Virginia 23219.

Please attend the hearing and contact the committee members! Agri-business and the Farm Bureau have come out hard against the bills' passage, so it is essential to express your support!

The Proposed Constitutional Amendment would read, "That the people shall have a right to acquire, for their own consumption, farm-produced food, directly at the farm from the farmer who produced it."

Please pass this alert on and ask others to do the same.
