House Bill 1089 clarifies the meaning of the term "agricultural products." This clarification will protect small farmers from local government overregulation. More concise definitions of terms like "agricultural products" will help to prevent farmers from unnecessary and costly court battles in the future.

Ask your legislators to vote YES on HB 1089 to clarify the meaning of "agricultural products."

2. Attend the public hearing scheduled for Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 7 a.m. in the West Conference Room, General Assembly Building 7th Floor 1000 Bank Street, Richmond, VA 23218.
 
3. Follow up with phone calls and emails to all the House Subcommittee Members
and ask your legislators to support HB 1089 (contact info below).
