State Houses Around the Country"
A big THANK YOU to everyone who made 2014 possible by joining, renewing, donating, blogging, volunteering, participating, and otherwise taking action.
Please consider one last donation so we can do it again in 2015! Make a Donation Here!
This year, the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund (FTCLDF) has:
Represented farmers like Mark Baker and Dan Brown in court at no cost other than yearly membership fees
Worked on and supported legislation like the Boneta Bill, which offers a more favorable regulatory climate for Virginia's family farms
Kick-started the national food rights conversation by gathering leaders and agtivists from diverse political and nutritional arenas at the inaugural Food Freedom Fest Conference
Alerted Food Rights News readers of actions to take on local, state and federal levels regarding new raw milk bills, proposed GMO food products, the Food Safety Modernization Act, and much more
Kept numerous members out of trouble through FTCLDF's unlimited consultation services with the attorneys, buyers club specialist, and farm and dairy expert
FTCLDF is a true grassroots organization and receives no government funding and little or no corporate funding. Our main sources of revenue are individual donations, membership fees, and grants for public interest litigation. FTCLDF is devoted to breaking down the barriers between farmers and consumers and increasing access to nutrient-dense local foods.
Donations to FTCLDF are always appreciated though not tax-deductible.
