"I choose to donate to
the Farm-to-Consumer Legal Defense Fund not only to support small farms close to me, but to support food freedom and consumer access to wholesome, sustainably grown foods from the nation's dwindling supply of family farms."

Be Our BFFF!

It's time to fill the coffers for the food freedom work ahead! We are grateful for the thousands of donors that backed the FTCLDF this past year.

Yes, our attorneys do amazing work on behalf of farmers, artisans and consumers...but the donors that stood behind us, kept the coffers full and stoked the fires of food freedom, they...YOU... deserve a large part of the credit for every victory, every advancement and every vindication this year!

When we all work together, we can do amazing things like:
  • Consult and/or serve as an information clearinghouse for on-farm meat and poultry processing, raw milk, and cottage food legislation in numerous states such as Louisiana, Virginia, New Jersey and California.
  • Work to oppose burdensome regulations on produce and food safety plans proposed by FDA pursuant to the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), a major threat to food freedom of choice.
  • Work with Congressman Thomas Massie (KY) on the "Raw Milk Freedom" bills (HR 4307 and 4308) to relax the ban on raw milk for human consumption in interstate commerce.
  • Provide advice and consultation on the setup and administration of private food buyers clubs throughout the country. Food buyers clubs continue to grow at a rapid rate and are an important part of the local food infrastructure.
  • Seek a court order, in representing Organic Pastures Dairy Company, allowing the shipment of raw milk from one state where its sale is legal to other states where its sale is legal.
FTCLDF is able to make progress only as a result of our community's investment in food freedom through donations and membership fees. FTCLDF receives the bulk of its revenue from membership fees and private individual donations.

Please continue or expand your level of support for FTCLDF, the tireless defender of food freedom.
