Dear Friend,
                                                                     September 2, 2009
Attend the Weston A. Price Foundation Annual Conference - November 13 - 16, 2009 - Schaumberg, IL

It's all good...

GOOD TURN - Sally Fallon Morell and Weston A. Price Foundation got us off to a good start. Now, we're able to return the favor. Let's attend, exhibit and donate at their Honoring the Sacred Foods Conference November 13 - 16, 2009 in Schaumburg, Illinois, outside of Chicago.

GOOD SPEAKERS
- Speakers include Board members Sally Fallon Morell, Dr. Kaayla Daniel, Tim Wightman, Pete Kennedy, Esq. and Dr.Ted Beals, as well as Fund members David Gumpert, Dr. Will Winter, Dr. Meg Cattell, John Moody, Kathryne Pirtle, Stephanie Rivers and Kim Thompson and more.

GOOD IDEAS
- We created three unique educational tracks with our members in mind. Topics include grass-fed livestock, artisanal animal husbandry and direct-to-consumer distribution.See more

GOOD FOOD
- We're in for a treat - A gourmet menu featuring donated fresh farm food prepared by American Culinary Federation Award winning chef - Chef Jack Delby. See the menus

Back by popular demand the Fund will host the Stick-to-Your Ribs Soaked Oatmeal Breakfast Fundraiser each morning. Hungry folks and food donors needed. Net proceeds go to the Fund.

GOOD DEEDS - FOOD DONATIONS - The WAPF conference is an ideal opportunity for farmers, producer or vendors to donate, exhibit and participate. You won't find more loyal customers than WAPF folks.

Here's more information to read or pass on to a farmer or friend without email access.

GOOD DEALS - NEW BARTER PROGRAM - This year, barters for exhibit space, registrations and advertisements have been popular with farmers, producers and vendors who prefer to pay with food in lieu of cash. To talk about donations and barter - call Cathy Raymond (703) 499-5511 [email protected]

GOOD FRIENDS -  Don't miss the annual drawing for Dave Wetzel's Fabulous Alaskan Fishing Expedition- Courtesy of Green Pasture Products. Dave donates all proceeds to the Fund.

GOOD SALES
- Direct-to-consumer doesn't get any better than this. Selling at this conference is like fishing in a stocked pond. Farmers can exhibit Saturday for $350. This fee includes exhibit space and admission to Saturday's lectures (meals extra). Bring some help for $50 each. The Saturday lecture's include Dr. Will Winters' Artisanal Farming with Livestock workshop. See all the Saturday lectures. You can buy or barter for additional conference days, meals or advertisements!

To talk about exhibits - call Paul Frank (304) 724-3004 [email protected]

GOOD BUY
- Register for the conference by October 1, 2009 to get the early bird discount!

GOOD BYE - Please stop by our exhibit at the conference. We look forward to meeting you!
