The Utah Food Freedom Act (HB 144) would give consumers greater access and ability to purchase fresh local homemade foods, and would encourage the expansion of agriculture sales, farmers markets, ranches, farms, CSA'S and home based producers.

Passage HB 144 would allow the direct sale from a Producer to a Consumer without regulation as long as it is sold directly to the consumer and they are informed that the production was not regulated in any way.
