New Jersey Assembly Bill 696 (A646) would allow the sale of raw milk and cream directly to consumers by producers with a permit. This bill would reduce costs and hassle for consumers who currently seek sources in the bordering states of New York and Pennsylvania.

The New Jersey Assembly Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee held a hearing and passed A696 on 12/12/2016 for a full Assembly vote.
