Attorney Pete Kennedy, FTCLDF President and Farm-to-Consumer Foundation Vice President, will be your host. This week's guest is Kristin Canty, producer/director of Farmageddon: The Unseen War on American Family Farms. Please tune in to the interview about the making of Farmageddon, the details of the documentary’s release, the terrible raids that some farm families endured, and the difficulty of obtaining raw milk even where it’s legal.
Kristin gladly joined the real food movement when her toddler’s severe allergies completely stopped after consuming raw milk on a regular basis. She then learned of the battles many farmers fought just to provide nutrient-rich foods, like raw milk, and decided that the issue was in need of major publicity.
The 90-minute documentary includes raided farm families and many FTCLDF members discussing the consumers’ right to choose the healthiest and freshest foods available and the legal battles of the farmers to sell it. Kristin hopes that Farmageddon will alleviate the control in the federally-forced food system and will facilitate in the eventual freedom to make our own chow choices.
